PROGRAM DETAILS
Aqua Fitness Instructor Training
- Prerequisites: None
- Assessment with RGFM required to complete training
- What will be covered?
Developed and presented by AEA Training specialist, Ashley Bishop, the instructor training will allow you to:
- Understand the basics about teaching aqua fitness
- Master the base moves that are featured in every class
- Learn to change the tempo, impact levels and intensity to create fun and effective classes
- Grasp the concept of Add-on, Pyramid & Pure Repetition choreography styles
- Understand how to integrate choreography and interval combos to design a well-rounded aqua class
- This 8-hour training will consist of classroom learning and practical application with two in-pool master classes. When the training is over, you'll walk away with all the tools you need to build a class, practice choreography and get ready for an audition with your Fitness Experience Coach!
Beatz RIDE Instructor Training
- Prerequisites: None
- Assessment with RGFM required to complete training
- Ride to the rhythm of energizing music in Beatz RIDE. This cardio cycle class will enhance endurance and strengthen stamina - and best of all, it feels like a party!
- What will be covered?
By the end of this training, you'll understand the basics of Beatz RIDE – how to teach each section, how to put your class together and how to bring community and fun to every class. You’ll learn how to coach participants through a variety of resistances, intensity levels and RPM ranges. With access to over 20 Beatz RIDEs you’ll have tons of material to practice, audition and ride to the rhythm!
Cycle Upskill
- Prerequisites: Skilled in Beatz RIDE, Freestyle RIDE, LM SPRINT and/or RPM
- No assessment required to complete training
- What will be covered?
How to cue intensity, resistance and rpms, how to coach on and off the bike, class prep best practices and how to promote your class(es)
MOVE7 Coaching Foundations
- Prerequisites: None
- No assessment required to complete training
- Great programming will fall flat without a great coach, so we created a training program that will help develop instructors and trainers into dynamic coaches. Our programming is simple and extremely effective. It was created by coaches, for coaches. We’ll teach you how to deliver a great member experience: how to cue, safety, motivation, how to own a room and how to find your coaching style and voice. We’ll teach you how to put together successful programming with our intuitive and engaging training and format templates. The best part is that the programming is appropriate for coaches at all levels of experience. Our coaches can feel confident delivering a studio class experience that’s a safe, effective, and enjoyable workout for members.
M7: HIIT Instructor Training
- Prerequisites: MOVE7 Coaching Foundations
- Assessment with RGFM required to complete training
- M7: HIIT is a 30-minute bootcamp-style class that uses only bodyweight and is suitable for most ability levels. Each class is a full-body workout focusing on two foundational movements, rooted in MOVE7. The class will challenge all aspects of fitness throughout its five main blocks, which include core, power, strength, cardio and a final challenge. The workout is focused on keeping the energy high, working out safely, and creating a motivating environment.
- What will be covered?
By the end of this training, you’ll understand the basics of teaching a safe and true HIIT experience. You’ll learn the three-tiered coaching principles to create positive and motivating classes. You’ll grasp the principle and benefits of HIIT. You’ll master the blocks that are featured in every class. Plus, you’ll understand how to create your own M7: HIIT classes within the provided standards.
M7: PWR RIDE Instructor Training
- Prerequisites: MOVE7 Coaching Foundations and Cycle skill
- Assessment with RGFM required to complete training
- Feel the burn, feel the sweat, feel the POWER! Get your cardio and strength gains in one place with M7: PWR RIDE. This motivating and challenging 45-minute class alternates between cardio work on the bike and dumbbell exercises off the bike for total-body strength that will leave you feeling powerful hours after class is over.
M7: STRONG Instructor Training
- Prerequisites: MOVE7 Coaching Foundations
- Assessment with RGFM required to complete training
- M7: STRONG is a 30-minute strength class suitable for most ability levels. This class is focused on strength training techniques and exercises to help members develop strength and build confidence! You’ll increase power, muscle size and stamina. Throughout the class, you use three sets of dumbbells (heavy set, medium set, low set). The class can be designed to focus on your full-body, lower-body, or upper-body. Each class includes a warm-up, cool-down, two strength circuits and two burnout challenges that are all rooted in our MOVE7 training system.

By the end of this training, you’ll understand the basics of teaching a safe and effective strength training experience. You’ll learn the three-tiered coaching principles to create positive and motivating classes. You’ll grasp the principle and benefits of strength training. You’ll master the blocks that are featured in every class. And of course, you’ll understand how to create your own M7 classes within the provided standards.
Mobility, Stability & Balance Instructor Training
- Prerequisites: MOVE7 Coaching Foundations and understanding of how the body moves, joints and muscles
- Assessment with RGFM required to complete training
- Mobility training can improve the range of motion in joints/muscles and it can also assist in improving posture. In this class, we will work on strengthening the postural muscles, mobilizing the joints, and improving static and dynamic balance. You will increase joint mobility to decrease stiffness, move pain-free and improve overall quality of movement.
